Honey Castella....aka Chiffon Cake

I was over at my sister's house and they had castella from one of those Korean bakeries. 
It was so moist and soft and delissssssssssshious. When I looked at the ingredients, it was very simple so I decided to try it. I searched for the perfect recipe but each recipe had different ingredients.
So I finally found a recipe that was similar to the one I tried from one of those Korean websites. ( I thank God that I can read Korean).
It was all gravy but...........I should have used 2 pans instead of 1...but it wasn't moist and soft as the one I tried. but it was good! 

Cappuccino cake


I didn't really like this one because the coffee frosting was overly sweet...
But I thought it looked pretty.
As for the bread,It was too thin...and I made it with egg whites which I am having difficulty to work with...
Chocolate cake with cream cheese&chocolate chip frosting and the top is the cappuccino frosting.

Madeleines


After searching for the Madeleines pan, I finally found it at Old Pasadena Store. but gees, $20 for a pan? give me a break here man....
However, I have to admit this is one deeeelicious cookies. I added some lemon zest & vanilla extract. 
When you take a bite into this baby, a hint of lemon permeates in your mouth. 
My first tester, James said this one was the far best I ever baked. he gave 10 out of 10. nice....;)
